Position: Legal Advisor, Banking
Location:Johannesburg North
Remuneration: R350 000 - R650 000 ctc
Description:
Providing Legal advice and opinions and drafting and vetting of documentation
- drafting of agreements and opinions
- providing legal advice in meetings
- researching legal issues and queries
- indentifying problems and providing solutions
- structuring and negotiating of transactions
- reflecting the agreed transaction in appropriate documentation
Managing and monitoring legal risk
- identifying legal risks and addressing them by taking the appropriate steps
- reporting these risks to the relevant party
- finding solutions to address these legal risks
- monitoring of new legislation and new legal developments in order to advise users correctly
Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and users
- Identify legal needs of key stakeholders and users
- proactively meeting the requirements of key stakeholders and users
- Keep key stakeholders and users informed of any new changes to legislation that may impact the business
Requirements:
· Admitted Attorney
· Minimum two years PQE experience in commercial and/or banking and finance
