Nigerians extradited for R100m romance scams

* Six Nigerian nationals wanted in the US for allegedly defrauding more than 100 women of over R100m in online romance scams have been extradited from SA. Hawks spokesperson Colonel Katlego Mogale said the men, allegedly part of the Black Axe organised criminal network, were extradited to the US on Friday. Mogale said the Hawks facilitated the extradition in collaboration with Interpol SA. The six men are wanted by US authorities in connection with wire fraud and money laundering charges.
